Summary
In general, the introduction of Sigma to the market of a lens with such a focal length for cropped Canon cameras was dictated by Canon itself, because at the time the EF-s mount appeared, only Canon EF-s 10-22 f / 3.5-4.5 was available, but ... not everywhere. Well ... and, there is always a Japanese person who will make it cheaper. On the secondary, glass is very inexpensive, unlike Canon (for some reason, 10-22 is less common than 10-18 STM). And for those who want a wide angle with a variable focal point, and shoot with presence effects, for a cheap price - I recommend.
