Plastic housing, minimalism and ease of use are the strong points of EF lenses in the film era. The Canon 80-200 f / 4.5-5.6 II is one of the few plastic kit lenses that have survived to this day. About him and speech. Go. Thanks to Vladimir Yekimovsky for the lens.

Canon 80-200 f / 4.5-5.6 II is a telephoto lens. You can play portrait in sunny weather, or you can just shoot distant objects, or in general, in a crowd. It should turn out very interesting, because the teleband can compress the perspective. In the case of shooting in low light conditions, it is better to use a camera with a stabilizer (there is no stabilizer in the lens), or high light sensitivity. The lens is not satisfactory in operation. Considering that, due to the maximum aperture, the slightest drawdown of illumination drives the camera into high ISO - behaves badly in the room. Well, how bad it is. It's just that a picture at high ISO tends to fall apart. This lens can be used indoors without any inconvenience when the matrices have a working ISO 12800 at least.
The case is plastic, there are no complaints about the build quality. Nothing loose or loose. Well, if only a little trunk at the maximum focal length.
Not fast, but quiet enough, as it seemed to me. Mistakes infrequently, refocuses sharply. When focusing, the front lens rotates.
The 6-blade iris diaphragm produces bokeh nuts at values other than open.
