ACE Lab describes the Spider Board as "designed to connect to the internal pins of NAND-based flash drives manufactured as single-packaged chips (monoliths)." The adapter "consists of 25 universal pins that support software configuration of their connection with NAND interface signals in the corresponding task." The Spider board is built on a configurable Xilinx microchip. Its main purposes are to read data from many monolithic devices and work in card adapter mode with mSD, SD and eMMC devices.
