Braun Paxette 35 by Braun from Nuremberg was produced from 1963 to 1965.

Paxette 35 4

It is notable for the Prontor 500 SVS central shutter, located in front of the focal plane, which allowed the Paxette to become a rangefinder with interchangeable lenses and "X"-synchronization at any of the shutter speeds, which are set by the ring immediately behind the lens. The following optics were produced for the threaded mount (M39) of the camera:

  • Kata 50(45)/2.8
  • Cassarit 45/2.8
  • Xenar 50/2.8
  • Luxon 50/2
  • Quinon 50/2
  • Tessar 50 / 2.8
  • Enna Ennalyt 135/3.5
  • Staeble & Co., Dr. Franz Staeble (known for its "plastic" glasses: Tessaplast, Choroplast, Neoplast, Polyplast, Protoplast and Lineoplast): Lineogon 35/3.5
  • Braun-Color-Ultralit 50/2.8
  • Telexon 135/3.8
