Kaleinar-5N - from the family of the same name fast four-lens lenses produced in the USSR. The optical design of the Kaleinar-5N is made on the principle of a complicated Cooke Triplet and was developed by the German company Rüo-Optik GmbH. In the 1930s, the development was purchased by the VOOMP for use in filming lenses. However, due to the unacceptable drop in resolution at the edge of the field of lenses calculated according to this scheme, their further development was suspended until the 1960s, when more successful samples were constructed from new types of optical glass.
