The Asahi Takumar 200mm f / 3.5 is one of the most impressive manual telephoto lenses I've had.

Dimensions, weight, assembly, ease of use of the photolens - all this once and for all disposes to this glass. Sixteen aperture blades form an even circle when closed, making you expect something out of the ordinary when shooting ...
... and these expectations come true!
Glare of blur in hips very, very interested. These are not circles, and not "lemons" ("cat's eyes"), but some amazing symbiosis of both.
With such a focal length and such aperture, the Asahi Takumar 200mm f / 3.5, of course, noticeably distinguishes the main subject from the background - moreover, at any distance. And the nature of the resulting images is very peculiar - perhaps, somehow it seemed to distinguish the model from the background of Tair-11A. It is difficult to explain in words, but there is a clear feeling of the MAIN character against the background of the events taking place. The lens very characteristically outlines the field of focus, and everything that falls into it becomes the main thing in the frame.

Asahi Takumar 200mm f / 3.5 - this is the case when it is better to see once than to tell a hundred times. Below I post samples of pictures and remind you that I can send full-size files by mail.
I would like to express my gratitude for the lens provided to Dmitry Terskov.
