Meyer Görlitz Primoplan 1,9 58 mm NB, 1950
The Primoplan is a lens made by Meyer Görlitz in the mid-1930s. After the development of the Macro Plasmat, it became a popular and, above all, a cheaper version of this exceptional design. Based on the optical base of the Plasmat, a lens has been developed with one less lens, allowing for a more economical design to be sold.
Optical performance suffered only slightly, so the Primoplan was a success from the outset and was produced in several focal lengths. The 5-element construct is associated with a Cook triplet, which is available in many variants.
Data: 5 elements, Exakta bayonet, normal aperture 1,9-22, viewing angle 40 °, filter thread 40,5 mm, MDF from 0,7 m.
